Decide the amount before you click through
Set the sum you are willing to lose before you follow any link on this site, and treat that money as already spent the moment you start. Deciding in advance removes the pressure of deciding in the moment, when a run of losses or a near win can make a bigger stake feel reasonable. Once you leave this site, you are on the operator's own site, and its rules, checks and account controls apply from that point on, not anything published here.
Know what this site can and cannot do
This site has no account, no form and no server-side application behind it. That means nothing published here can switch on or enforce a deposit cap, a loss cap, a reality check, a cooling-off period or self-exclusion. Controls like these belong to an account at the destination you reach after following a link, and they only exist once you set them up there. In the same way, nobody's age is checked on this site and no gambling takes place on it; any age check happens at the destination. There is no advertising or behavioural profiling network running on these pages either, so nothing here is aimed at you because of anything you have done elsewhere.
Stop chasing and take a break early
A loss is easiest to accept right after it happens. Trying to win it back with a bigger stake tends to turn one loss into several, because the decision is being made to fix a feeling rather than to play a game. Step away for a fixed period, even a short one, before deciding whether to continue. Keep gambling money separate from money you have borrowed or need for something else, since mixing the two makes it harder to stop when your set amount runs out.
Bring someone else in before it stops being fun
If gambling starts to feel less like entertainment and more like something you're managing, tell someone early rather than waiting for a crisis point. Every page on this site, including this one, carries links to three independent organisations: BeGambleAware, Gambling Therapy and GamCare. Those links are not commercial, carry no sponsored marking, are set to nofollow, and open in a separate tab on each organisation's own site; this site receives nothing when you follow them. The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout the site, including on the front page.
